Baljer & Zembrod GmbH & Co. KG

Baljer und Zembrod was founded in 1951. Nowadays, the company is a leading international provider of innovative word working machines for the log yard in the sawmill and electric transferal technic for the recycling sector. Based in Altshausen, near Lake Constance, the medium-sized company currently has 80 employees and produces its electrically driven special machines with a high manufacturing depth.

Due to special production techniques and over 60 years of experience with electric drives, the machines developed and manufactured by B&Z are outstandingly efficient. Connected loads as low as 37kW ensure the trouble-free operation of heavy-duty crane systems for decades. The most powerful crane systems can reach their maximum working capacity with 110kW units. But they only need approximately 60 percent of their maximum power consumption during regular handling operations.

About 15 years ago, B&Z decided to enter the “handling, scrap and recycling” sector. Stationary – semi-mobile – and rail-mounted heavy-duty crane systems are part of Baljer & Zembrod’s product portfolio and fulfill the customer’s specifications. Therefore, each crane is a special construction, individually designed and adapted to the customer’s needs and manufactured in Germany.
